With over 16 years of experience in bookkeeping and financial management, Jimmie founded J2 Bookkeeping to bring real, hands-on financial leadership to small and mid-size businesses. He holds an MBA and is an Intuit Elite Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor. Jimmie specializes in helping businesses that are behind on their books, need better financial systems, or want CFO-level guidance without the full-time cost — combining deep technical expertise with clear, jargon-free communication.
Jason brings over 12 years of financial operations experience, including a Fortune 500 background in accounts receivable, reconciliation, and process optimization. As Managing Partner, he oversees day-to-day client operations and leads the firm’s commitment to accuracy, responsiveness, and proactive communication — making sure every client receives consistent, high-quality service.

We planted our Texas roots in New Braunfels in 2019, and have grown to serve businesses across San Antonio, Austin, and the whole country. What most people don’t realize: we’ve been working remotely since 2007 — long before virtual bookkeeping became a buzzword.
That head start is why our digital-first workflows, cloud systems, and communication habits feel effortless. It’s not a trend for us. It’s just how we’ve always worked.
